Quote for the day

You will never find time for anything. If you want the time, you must make it.
- Charles Buxton

This is so true. Lately, I've been asked by many people how do you have so much time to scrapbook. Unfortunately, since my husband works many many hours I had to find a hobby to keep myself busy otherwise I would become depressed and feel lonely. Some people like to clean and use that as their escape from their problems. Well, I'm no Martha Stewart. I'd rather scrapbook then clean. I find cleaning to be a job where scrapbooking is fun and creative. I guess it's a form of therapy for me. My day ends at 9:30 every night after cleaning up the kitchen. That is when I do my scrapbooking. Most nights I stay up really late sometimes even to 2 or 3 am. So yes, I am making a sacrifice but it's well worth it.

I love this quote - and I actually found scrapbooking & blogging for almost the same reason... to fill time so I don't become lonely and depressed (But because husband left us - not because he works too much, which he did)

Hi,

I know I mentioned in my earlier post that I wonder how you find the time to scrapbook -I hope I am not responsible for this post. Everyone wonders how I read so many books!! I do it when they are napping or at night when they are sleeping. But...I met some ladies who scrapbook in my neighborhood, and now I am triply hooked on it. It's a highly addictive habit. So, I am always a bit jealous when you post page after page of beautiful layouts!! Anyhow, I meant my last post as a comment, you really are supermom! Who needs to do housework when there is "me" time to cover?
