This is the first layout I made using the above kit.

Exercise? - What's that?
What do you do for exercise?? And if you don't exercise, why don't you? And if you do, what is your motivation to keep going???
I know I really should start exercising but I really just don't have the time. My form of exercising is chasing the kids around the house. Lifting them up for their diaper changes and down the stairs. They are now about 30 pounds each. By the end of the day my back is really killing me. I use Bengay almost every other week or so just to relieve the muscle pains so I can sleep at night if I sleep at all. I brought the kids to Sesame Place last month and for the first time in a long time I used the triplet stroller. Pushing over 90 pounds in child weight and then add the weight of the stroller to that as well you could imagine by the end of the night my legs and back were in so much pain. Well, off to start my day, as I really need to get dressed and ready for the day. We are going to the annual triplet picnic.

Doing the Happy Dance
A lot is going on here. First, as I already mentioned in a previous post my MIL gave me her piano. Last night I did my first lesson. I think I'm really going to like this. I found some free lessons on the web that I'm following and I also requested some books from the library. My goal is to practice at least 15 minutes a day. I think it's really going to be easy since I have used my hands a lot. If you don't know me you probably didn't know that when I graduated from high school I went to school to become a court reporter. I studied for 5 years practicing every day doing exercises with my hands on a keyboard using every finger at a fast rate speed. I graduated doing 250 words per minute. Unfortunately, I did not like the field and quite but I do still use my hands on a regular typewriter daily browsing the web or typing up something. I'm sure I'm at about 80 words per minute on a regular typewriter.
Other news! Finally, something good has come in the mail! My DH got a jury duty notice a couple weeks ago. He filled it out trying to get excused because he is the sole provider of our family and if he doesn't work then we don't get paid! He was denied. The stress of him having to go to jury duty really put a toll on me. I decided to try again and send them a notice for excuse. I wrote a long letter explaining that we are in a bit of a financal crisis and that we have triplets and if my husband doesn't work we won't be able to feed and diaper our children. My husband faxed the letter in last Monday. So the week long wait! Finally, yesterday we received the postcard. He's excused. Thank you God!
More Good News: I applied for another CT (creative team) for a digital designer. I was accepted. I will be designing layouts for Michaele Burkhart. You can find her digital kits here. Not only will I be designing 2 layouts each month but I will be making one quick page from her kits as well for her to sell or give away free. I'm very excited about this as I really like to make quick pages and others will be able to use my designs. August will be a busy month.

BvanEsch has a New Kit
Bonnie has this awesome new kit out. You can find it here.
Here is this awesome layout I did using her kit above for my son's album. I did do a little bit of recoloring to match my photos. Check out the extraction work I did on the top photo. Really love how the water looks like it's popping off the page.

Digital Freebies
While searching for digital freebies I came across a blog named Janniscrap Designs. She has such cute stuff. I first downloaded her newest kit "You are my sunshine" (See preview to the left). Then I continued to read her blog scrolling down and down seeing tons of cute stuff. I even went through her previous entries all the way back to January 2007. Yes, I've been downloading almost all night now. I got some father kits, sleeping kits, moving kits, picnic ones and some toddler kits. She also has some flower kits and baby kits but I have way too much flowers and my children's baby photos have already been scrapped so really no need for baby kits. I told myself I wouldn't download anything since I just cleaned up my hard drive but hey, these kits are really so cute how could I not download them. Her links from Jan to now are still working. If you want to get some cute kits go here but be warned you will be downloading for a long long time.

Piano
My mother-in-law gave me her piano today. The kids loved it. They sat and played on it the minute they saw it. Then at bed time they sat and played again. Justin was really cute. He'd sit and play while Victoria danced around the dining room. I searched on line for piano lessons and found a sight that offers free lessons. I just finished lesson 1. I now know where all the keys are. One of the sights says that you need to practice 15 minutes a day. So I plan on trying to do this once the kids go to bed. Tomorrow I'll try to do lesson 2.
Movie that Made Me Laugh
What was the last movie that made you really laugh? Or do you have one you've seen over and over and still makes you laugh?
I watch a ton of movies. We rent them from netflix. I hardly ever go to the movies but did last month for MOMS night out. We saw "Knocked Up". Yes, it did make me laugh. Of course, my husband didn't laugh at the things that I did. I guess it was more geared toward a woman since we are the ones that go through pregnancy and child birth. Men just do not have the foggiest idea of what that is like so they just can't relate to the jokes in the movie. Anyway, I did enjoy the movie.

Thurs - Feeling Crappy
Make up a great excuse why you can't work today.
Since my job is a MOM and Housewife I can say that if I could call out sick it would be a miracle. Having a day off never happens and when it does I'm running errands to get things done that I can't possibly do while I have the children with me. I so need a vacation!
Okay, back to the topic. Let's see! My back is hurting big time from lifting up the kids who now are about 30 pounds each. My mouth hurts because I bit it the other day and now I have this sore that just won't go away. I've been knumbing it with ambasol frequently. My dishes are piled high in the sink. My living room looks like a cyclone came with toys, pillows, blankets everywhere. My laundry is piled high in every room dirty. We are running out of clothes to wear. It's not like I'm not doing the laundry. My baskets are full of clean clothes. I just can't keep up.
We can't go outside because there are big bee like bugs flying around in our yard plus the humidity is a big damper on the summer. The girls rooms are a total mess since they are now free from their cribs and in toddler beds. They have been attacking the wall paper on the wall again. Paper everywhere. Toys everywhere. Mom, when are you coming back? I'm drowning and need help.

Cardboard Graph
Bonnie has a new kit called Cardboard Graph. You can purchase it here. 8 graph papers are colorful and fun and have added cardboard to them too, giving them a recycled feel! The elements consist of 5 real torn cardboard pieces, 2 already made cardboard clusters and 2 cardboard cluster frames. Also a really cool rusted staple! Enjoy!

Office Space
This layout was made by Tracy. I found it from her website. She made it for her husband because it was based on his favorite movie "Office Space". Some of the jokes are really funny. You have to see the movie to get some of them. Just wanted to share. Enjoy.

Dreading the Mail
Lately, I have been dreading every day that the mail comes. I never get anything exciting. Our mail consists of mostly bills and lots of junk mail. For the past couple of days we have been expecting a paycheck and all we have gotten were unexpected bills, jury duty notices and tax bills. How do they expect you to pay your bills when you are serving on jury duty. It really is stressing me out. I look forward to Sundays when we don't get any mail at all.

Amazing Digital Race
The big news in my life is that I'm going to be participating in the Amazing Digital Race with a friend I met from deco-pages.com (Gail). To find out more details about the Amazing Digital Race go here. Our team name will be DECO-MOMSx3. Why that name? Well, Deco is where we met. MOMS well that's sort of obvious. x 3 is that we both have 3 children. Oh, this is going to be so much fun. Wish us luck. Stay tuned for the blogger address once we have it set up I'll post the link here. The prizes are awesome and no judging. At first I wasn't going to do it because I'm more of an intermediate scrapper but since they are not judging it's going to be a random winner for the grand prize I said why not?
