Children Addressing Adults & Manners

In my area most of the people we have come in contact with like the librarian have wanted to be called Miss _____. As for very close friends I am teaching the children to call them Aunt _____. However, people we see regularly we just call them by their first name. The only problem I am now facing is that they have 2 Grandmas and 2 Grandpas so I don't know how to show them the difference between the four. If you have any ideas please post a comment. Thank you.

What manners do you stress in your family? I am trying very hard to teach the triplets to say please and thank you. I am also trying to teach them to say sorry when they did something wrong or hurt someone.

All great manners to work on...and no real suggestions about grandparents except maybe nana and papa, or using gma (first name) or gpa (first name)...I don't know! :)

The princess and Indy pretty much have the same problem, but only because there are so many of us running around. Princess calls her dad's parent mamma and pops; her dad's gramdmother is grandma. My ex is grampa (his last name); my mother is mamaw; my father was poppa, Pan's parents are Grandma and Grandpa (last name); while Pan and I are, well Pan and Tink.

im the oldest of all my brothers and sisters and my cousins so i was the one who named my grandad. i couldnt say grandad, so i said grandy instead and it stuck. the others are grandma, nanny (shortened to nan as we got older) and grandpop

My side does Grammie (last name) and their parents Great-grampie (last name). My husband's side did not like that way. We asked when my daughter was born how they would rather be referred to. My MIL is Nanny and her mother (both have the same last name) is Nanny Everett. My MIL's boyfriend is Grampie Wade (first name) and his parents are Nanny Daury and Grampie Daury (last name). They are both pretty young and did not want the "Great". My grandparents are over 80 and do not mind.
