Bvan Esch Big Sale

Hello, hope you are having a great weekend! To make it even better, Bvan Esch is having a sale on all her Full kits for only $1.80! Only the 23rd and 24th May. You can find her blog here.

Freebies: SDD While We Were Away Blog Train

The Scrappity-Doo-Dah designers and team members were cooking up something special for you!

The whole team at SDD appreciates all our customers, and our whole team want to thank you for your continued patience - both in the time that we were down and our migration over to a new, more (ahem) reliable host. We hope that this blog hop will make up for it!

More than 15 of the designers and some of the CT, Love Birds (that's me), and Moderators of SDD have come together to bring you this huge kit - While We Were Away. We know you missed us while we were away and we missed you too!

If you take all of the stops of the blog hop you will end up with a huge, beautiful kit that you will be able to scrap almost anything with. You'll also receive a ton of quickpages, courtesy of our Creative Team, Love Birds (that's me), and Moderators!

First I want to take a moment to tell you that a ton of designers have sales and specials going on this weekend to make up for the downtime. Be sure to check all of them out this weekend!

SDD Store

Please understand - SDD will be going through a host move throughout the weekend and possibly into the week still. If the store does happen to be down, be patient and try again later. We may experience some downtime during the move, but rest assured if there is, we will try to fix it ASAP!

And now on to the blog hop!

Here's what you'll be receiving from me today! I made 3 quick pages for you. I uploaded them separately so you can pick and choose which one you like or grab them all. The download links are under each preview.

You can download here.

March - Blogger Favorites

I use google reader to read many blogs. Most of the time I fall behind and I wind up having over 1,000 posts to read. I have my google reader sorted by category so whenever I have a free moment I try to read all the posts in the category. Last week I tackled my digital scrapbooking blogs. This week I'm trying to get through my organizing and craft blogs. I have over 400 to read. I decided to post my favorites here so I can find them again when I want to do the crafts with the kids.

Kids Crafts:

Flower Prints from soda bottles!

Crafting with Recyclables - Giant Sunflower

Challenge and Freebie - 365 Template

I am always searching for new digital scrapbooking challenges to participate in.

Deco-Pages has a new "Odds and Ends" challenge. It's all about templates. There are 2 parts to the challenge. First you take a template that you already own and rotate it 90 or 180 degrees and make the layout. The second part to the challenge is to take a favorite layout in the gallery and make a template.

I chose this layout from Grip Design. I am always looking for layouts that have 7 photos in them to make project 365 easier.

Here is the template

You can download both the 12 x 12 and 8 x 8 template here.

Designer Spotlight

Sara Ellis Designs is in the spotlight over at Scrappity Doo-Dah. Come on over and welcome her to the sight.

She is running the Brag About It Challenge. She provides a brag book sized kit for all participants. All you need to do is make one 4x6 page and at the end of the month you will receive one large coordinating brag book.

Digital Scrapbook Challenges

Man, it seems like forever since I actually posted to my blog. Been so busy lately that I just haven't had the time. What have I been up to?

Well, I am trying to run the MOMS Club (I'm president) and Girl Scouts (I'm a daisy girl scout leader for my girls troop). Not to mention I have been volunteering at the kids school. I am also on the Creative Team at Deco-Pages and also for some digital scrapbooking designers teams Bvan Esch, Lori Staton and Michaele Burkhart. I also run the Brag Book Challenge over at Deco-Pages. Take a look a the prize you win if you participate.

With all that going on I continue to scrapbook. I enjoy doing challenges at various websites. I am looking for new digital scrapbook sites that I can participate in challenges that don't require pages done with their kits. If you know of any digital scrapbooking websites that don't require their kits please send me a comment with the link and I'll check it out. Thanks.
